No. Nothing reaches them until the moment it begins. You add them, choose their language, and confirm the date, and then it stays quiet until the day. The surprise is the whole point.
No. Your parent does not need to create an account or install an app. You set up the family account, add their WhatsApp number, send them a heads-up if you want, and choose the first topic. They simply receive a WhatsApp voice note and reply when they feel like it.
Yes. During onboarding you set one primary language for the elder. Live choices are Hindi, Indian English, Marathi, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, and Punjabi. Hindi/Hinglish code-mixing and family terms are expected.
Yes. Alfaaz works for any elder in your family. Parents, grandparents, great-aunts and uncles, any elder whose stories matter to you. One family account can hold more than one elder, each with their own language and conversation thread.
They can stop at any time. Replying STOP to any message stops all messages at once, and simply not replying is always okay: Alfaaz never pressures an elder. Families can also pause future prompts, and already recorded conversations remain in the family archive unless the family asks us to delete them.

Nothing renews, and nothing more is charged. The four months count from the one payment on day 22 after you buy, not from their day. So a gift bought in the 21 days before their day runs for all four months after it. When the term ends, new conversations stop. Everything already gathered stays yours to read and listen to, for good.
Cancel before day 22, and you pay nothing. The first 21 days from the day you buy are free, so nothing is charged before then. The one payment on day 22 is on the same terms as every plan, shown in full before you pay. The free days come once for each family: if you had a plan before, you pay on the day you buy, and the gift board says so first.
No. Alfaaz does not use your family's voice notes, transcripts, or stories to train AI models, and we do not sell stories for advertising.
At 8 am India time, a warm anniversary wish in their own language, and one gentle question: the day they first met the person they married. A gift for both parents reaches each of them on their own WhatsApp number, at the same hour, each in their own language.
That is perfectly fine. As long as you finish setup before the morning of their anniversary, the first voice note reaches them on the day. If you set it up on the anniversary itself, it goes out right away.
